As Evan's words fell, Gustav and the other Core Evolvers—trapped inside the Shadow World—suddenly felt tens of thousands of new presences appear out of nowhere.

Then, as if ignited like lanterns in the dark, countless deep purple, burning eyes snapped open across the blackened walls of the Shadow World.

Because of the strange entity Evan had summoned earlier, most of the low-level guards—aside from Gustav and other high-ranking Rank Three and Four Core Evolvers—had instinctively rushed toward the walls of the Shadow World, desperately trying to break free and escape.

However, due to their close proximity to the walls, they had no time to react when the Shadow Undeads appeared.

As a result—

"Arghhhh!!!" "Arghhhh!!!" - - - - -

Agonized screams tore through the air as nearly half of the Core Evolvers closest to the walls were impaled by a variety of deadly weapons, all wielded by the Shadow Undeads.

The weapons used by Evan's Shadow Undeads weren't of exceptionally high grade—most of them were Rank Two.

However, these weapons were forged by the Lava Demons Evan had brought into the closed world of the Drayds.
