Celestial Lady read the update calmly. "This game is amazing," she thought with a grin. Now at level 11, she could visit any city and decide her path—hunting monsters, adventuring, or even climbing into nobility based on her merit.
Just then, her screen flashed with a notification.
[Player Darklord wants to add you as a friend.] Your next journey awaits at empire
[Accept/Reject?]
"Hmm, brother," Celestial Lady murmured with a smile and accepted the request. She stood at the village gate, watching players murmuring as they passed. After all, she was level 11, while most of them were only level 4 or 5.
[Friend Request Accepted.]
(Sister, go to Sunset City.)
A message from Darklord appeared.
"Why, though?" she replied quickly.
(Blazing Queen and I will meet you there.)
Celestial Lady smirked. "Oh, those two," she thought, opening her map.
[Teleport to Sunset City - Cost: 10 Gold Coins.]
"Let's go," she said, and with a tap, she disappeared.

Sunset City....
Sunset City wasn't named randomly—it was renowned for being close to the point where the sun dipped below the horizon. The vibrant orange glow mixed with the silvery hues of the city created a breathtaking, awe-inspiring view that drew tourists from far and wide.
As Celestial Lady arrived, she spotted Darklord and Blazing Queen waiting in a corner.
"Hey," Darklord greeted, waving. Celestial lady walked towards them with a smile.
Getting there, darklord and blazing queen greeted her with smiles before darklord expression became serious.
"Good. I have a plan, and I want you two to be part of it. Blazing Queen already agreed, and now it's your turn," he said, his expression serious.
"Why so serious? We're not killing anyone, are we?" Celestial Lady asked nervously.
"Clan—"
"Ouch!" Celestial Lady rubbed her head after Darklord flicked it.
"How could you even think that?" Darklord scolded, shaking his head.
He continued, "I want to create a guild."
Celestial Lady gasped. "You're serious?"
Darklord nodded.
"Cool! But… uh, what's a guild?" she asked with a cheeky smile.
Blazing Queen sighed. "A guild is like a clan. Players can share resources, participate in guild battles, wage wars, and take on unique quests. Being in a guild also gives bonuses."
"Ah, got it. But how do we do that? I read the prompts. We can't form a guild yet, it wasn't added , wait will they add it ?," Celestial Lady pointed out.
Both blazing queen and darklord looked at each other before blazing queen answered. " Yes I got the news through a source "..., blazing queen said.
"Hmm a source I see... But we still can't create it now "..., celestial lady said.
"I know. We need to reach level 50 first," Darklord admitted. "I'm just letting you know so you're prepared. Now, let's enjoy Sunset City!"..., darklord turned with a smile and walked towards the gate.
The two ladies nodded and followed him.
***********
At the city's entrance stood an enormous wall, reminiscent of the Great Wall of China—long, wide, and tall. The massive gates were intricately designed, resembling black stallions in their grandeur. Guards, each at level 30, flanked the gates and walls.
"Name and reason for visiting?" one of the guards asked.
Darklord took a deep breath. "Darklord, here to settle down."
The guard raised an eyebrow. "Settle down as what? Space is limited unless you're rich enough to buy someone's land."
"We're here to become adventurers," Darklord replied.
The guard's demeanor shifted, a smile appearing. "Ah, Otherworld beings. Come in."
Darklord nodded, leading the group through the gates.
"Hey, what just happened?" Celestial Lady whispered in shock.
"Beings in this world are naturally friendly to players, except for those aligned with the Dark Faction, they are a bit unpredictable," Darklord explained.
A guard escorted them into the city. In the city, Men and women walked the streets, laughing and smiling. The architecture was stunning, with buildings so beautiful they seemed unreal and people with peaceful and beautiful smiles on their faces.
"So beautiful," Celestial Lady said, her eyes sparkling.
"Wait until you see the sunset," Blazing Queen replied, smiling.
"Alright, let's rest up today and celebrate. Tomorrow, we start leveling up," Darklord said.
"Yeah!" the two women cheered as they followed him to find an inn.
*********
In a few moments, they spotted a charming inn.
"Let's stay here tonight," Darklord said, stepping inside.
Click… Ding!
The soft chime of a bell greeted them. Inside, the atmosphere was lively, with men drinking beer and wine while women danced to entertain.
"Lovely," Blazing Queen said. She had seen many inns before, but experiencing one after reincarnation was thrilling.
"I love it—so intriguing," Celestial Lady agreed, her face glowing with excitement.
Darklord smiled at the two. One was his partner from his past life, the other his beloved sister.
As they approached the counter, Darklord noticed a petite woman in a black hoodie drinking and sitting in a corner. Her face was obscured, but her lips, visible from this angle, were enough to captivate him.
"Inspection"... Darklord activated his skill, and the information that appeared left him stunned.
Host: Princess of the Sunset City
Race: Human
Rank: E
Level: 15
Strength: 870
Speed: 1023
Defense: 450
Agility: 500
Health: 345/600 (Poisoned)
Skill:
God's Chosen: Super Lucky. Luck: 8/10.
"What is the princess of Sunset City doing here?" Darklord frowned. The inn, while high-end, wasn't the kind of place where someone of her status would stay. Typically, even a noble visiting such a place would rent out the entire inn to avoid mingling with commoners. But now, the princess herself was sitting here, alone and poisoned.
Darklord's eyebrows knitted together as his mind raced. He recalled a world-wide quest from the past: Support Sunset City or Destroy Blazing City. This event had been pivotal, leading to the discovery of a unique item from Sunset City—the Anfos Ring, the only Grade-A luck equipment in existence. In the late stages of the game, its value rivaled even S-rank items, all because of its incredible boost to the hidden stat Luck.
Still, the bigger question lingered in his mind: Who poisoned her, and why? Was this tied to the brewing war between the two cities?
Darklord remembered the history vividly. For players who sided with Blazing City, the questline often ended in death. The city had fallen under the control of the Dark Queen—the Queen of Death and the mother of all dark dragons. The conflict began when the heir prince of Blazing City, who was known to have a public interest in the Sunset Princess, sent assassins to kill her. The reason? A scandal that shook the nobles: the princess had reportedly lost her chastity to another man.
It was later proven true, and the revelation sparked outrage. For Sunset City, the situation was dire. The princess was the heir to the throne, and without her, the city's future was in jeopardy. The war became inevitable, with hatred burning fiercely on both sides. Now, Darklord found himself at the heart of this volatile situation.
"The death of a single princess caused this much chaos between two cities?" Darklord shook his head. His expression grew determined.
"If those assassins intend to finish the job tonight, I'll stop them. And that Anfos Ring... it will be mine," he thought, booking a single room upstairs for himself and the girls.
As they entered the room, Celestial Lady immediately raised an eyebrow. "Brother, do you have a weird fetish? A single room for all of us? Let me tell you, it won't work," she teased, raising her fists as if to punch him.
"Yeah," Blazing Queen chimed in, crossing her arms. "Have you seen how the men downstairs were glaring at us? Is this your way of proving you're a man to them?" she asked mockingly, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Has he turned into a pervert in this life?" she wondered, stunned remembering the kiss.
Darklord sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Both of you, enough. Do you have any idea how much one room costs here? And more importantly, I need you two to stay with me for now," he said, his tone suddenly serious.
Blazing Queen's playful smirk faltered as she noticed the shift in his demeanor. "Why is that?" she asked cautiously, her heart skipping a beat. "How big of a pervert is he?"...., she wondered anxiously.
Darklord leaned closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "Blazing Queen, did you notice the girl in the black hoodie downstairs?"
Blazing Queen thought back and vaguely remembered the petite figure. "What about her?" she asked.
"She's the Princess of Sunset City," Darklord revealed, his words sending a chill through the air.
Blazing Queen's face turned grim as the weight of his revelation sank in.
