He didn't know that consuming those experience potions while his boost was active would give him more experience points!

Thanks to that bug, he was able to get two more levels!

'Now... Let's finish this up...' Shane thought as he looked ahead.

The Zombie Wave wasn't over yet.

The Hell's Fury of the Flamethrower was about to disappear, and he had to control the situation again.

Shane's eyes swept across the field, assessing the situation. The once overwhelming horde had dwindled—no more formidable foes remained.

It was time to finish this.

"Clear the remaining zombies!" Shane's voice cut through the chaos, rallying the troops. The six Super Soldiers and the five elves shifted seamlessly from ranged attacks to close combat. Blades gleamed in the sunlight as they strode into the fray.

Mara, the Flamethrower wielder, switched to her combat knife since the fuel had also been consumed.

Her movements were swift and precise as she was using a knife made from the Abyssal Iron.

Cassius, on the other hand, twirled his twin blades as he led the other Super Soldiers...

The pets, on the other hand, didn't wait for Shane's signal as they also started moving!

Frostbite, the wyrm, coiled around a group of zombies, freezing them solid before shattering their icy forms with a single swipe.

One the other side of the estate, Chaloem's team also started finishing up the Zombie Wolves.

And Lady Seraph, the Royal Knight, fought with her sword and seemed to have gained more confidence in her skills after killing at lot of Zombies.

The elves were equally formidable. Their slender forms belied their strength.

They stored their bows and arrows and pulled up their short blades as they leaped into the fray!

Gene, who was still on the watchtower, dispatched zombies with his crossbow or revolver from time to time.

Lucas, who was also a sentinel at this time, continued supporting the others from his current spot.

But then it happened—a fast Jumper Zombie slipped through their defenses, its elongated limbs propelling it forward!

This Jumper Zombie seemed to be a variant version, as its whole skin was rotting black!

Anna, the Physician, stood frozen, her eyes wide. The creature was upon her, its gaping maw ready to tear into her.

And then Shane was there—his Laser Sniper Rifle aimed perfectly!

The shot echoed, and the variant of Jumper Zombie crumpled, its threat extinguished!

Anna's breath hitched, and she looked up at him. Gratitude could be seen in her eyes.

Then, Shane's gaze met hers, and for some reason, Anna felt that time seemed too slow. This had never happened before.

Anna's heartbeat thundered in her chest, and in that moment, something shifted.

In her eyes, the battlefield faded, and all that remained was Shane—the hero who had saved her.

However, as she was lost in her thoughts, she suddenly heard the bark of her dog!

"Lucky!"

She immediately turned in the direction of the dog and realized that he was still alive!
