Chapter 1029: What the lord's thinking.

Bam! Bam! Bam!

As soon as the Soul Domain Portal and the massive tree trunk appeared, more than half of the 400 martial emperors redirected their attacks to rain down on the Soul Portal and the tree. They desperately tried to destroy it before it could fully materialize. Those who had seen Hovenheim in its full glory before and knew the terror and power it wielded attacked with ferocity, as if their lives depended on it.

The reason was simple: dealing with that crimson fiend was already troublesome enough, and the outcome was uncertain. Within a few seconds, it had effortlessly deflected all their attacks. What would happen if that colossal tree joined him, its massive branches attacking them from every direction?

"Fools!" Sakaar sneered, unleashing his Underworld Chrysanthemums in every direction.

Swish! Swish!

"Arrgh!!"

With many of his assailants splitting off to attack Hovenheim's trunk, half of the chrysanthemums were freed from their defensive roles. For the first time, Sakaar shifted to the offensive.

Slash! Slash!

"Damn it!" The Eleventh Prince panicked. Around 200 martial emperors were relentlessly bombarding the tree trunk and gate with their epic weapons. Some even employed the Law of Corrosion against it, yet the damage to the trunk was immediately repaired as if nothing had happened. After dozens of futile rounds, despair began to creep into their hearts. Meanwhile, the crimson fiend had managed to wound many of his siblings on the battlefield!

"Beware of that demon, but keep attacking the trunk! This thing is indeed a Soul Creature!" the Eleventh Prince shouted again, issuing his orders. "Spiritual creatures draw their strength from their master's unit reservoir. Every injury it sustains and heals drains its master's reserves. Eventually, its master's spiritual energy will run out, and it will disappear. Keep attacking!"

"Yes!!"

...By the Space Portal, Pythor furrowed his brows deeply as he observed the colossal tree, now reaching the clouds and nearly fully emerged.

"They told me you had a powerful soul creature, but this... this is simply absurd."

A soul creature was typically a remnant of an initial soul absorbed incidentally during training. It's said that to encounter a Soul Master, you must venture into forests and areas rife with death, as they often wander there to absorb Soul Force, increasing their chances of capturing such remnants.

However, the strength of an absorbed initial soul ultimately depended on the individual's power. Usually, the initial souls someone could absorb were much weaker than them. For example, a new Soul Master with a thousand soul units could barely absorb the souls of rabbits, insects, or small fish. If someone managed to get a dog's soul, for example, they'd be ecstatic.

But this colossal tree... it possessed the strength of a Marshal, if not more, and was tougher and more useful than one! How could his soul domain accommodate such a being? More bafflingly, how had an initial soul of this strength entered this human's soul domain in the first place? It was akin to forcing a camel through the eye of a needle!

"...Amazing. They say every great person encounters a chance in their life, and seizing them is what makes them great. Is this soul creature your chance? Did you absorb its initial soul by luck? Is it what enabled you to subjugate your planet and build that poorly named empire of yours?" Pythor raised his eyebrows slightly, starting to piece things together.

Typically, Truth Chosens are solitary individuals, devoted to studying their surroundings and sharing their discoveries. As such, all great empires strive to secure a Seeker, treating them like precious jewels to be protected at any cost. The Chosens, in turn, often agree to such arrangements for the protection and resources necessary to pursue their research and passions.

But Robin Burton upended the norms. He established his own empire!

Breaking such conventions would undoubtedly require a major event, and that colossal tree was clearly that event.

"Tell me, Robin Burton, how did you manage to-" At that moment, Pythor finally shifted his gaze from the larger battlefield outside the city walls and turned to Robin, intending to engage in a proper conversation befitting two planetary emperors in such an epic scenario. "...?!"

However, he found Robin glancing around and behind him as if searching for something. He paid no attention to the battle outside or to Pythor himself!n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

"Could you act a bit more like a proper emperor?" Pythor struck the armrest of his throne, feeling slightly insulted.

"Apologies, but I don't care about what you have to say right now. I have something important to handle, and I'll deal with you afterward." Robin continued scanning his surroundings until his gaze locked in a specific direction, his expression turning serious. "There..."

Shing!

Robin's spatial ring gleamed for a moment before producing a slender black spear with a needle-like tip. He grabbed it without hesitation, his focus still locked on that specific point. Then, standing upright, a flicker of killing intent glinted in his eyes.

"...?"

Pythor's body stiffened for a moment. He felt both danger and insult simultaneously. Robin's killing intent and aura exuded a severe sense of threat, the kind only someone who had directly or indirectly claimed the lives of billions could wield. The air around him grew heavy and isolating, as though the planet itself could barely bear his presence.

And yet, Pythor also felt insulted. He, the planetary emperor Pythor, was seated before Robin. A battle of life and death raged between their followers at that very moment, with the potential for a catastrophic clash between the two emperors looming, as neither had yet revealed all their cards. Despite all this, Robin dared to avert his gaze and direct his killing intent elsewhere!

At that moment, a shout came from the distance: "My Lord!!"

"What do you want?" Robin responded without turning, his intense focus unwavering. Only one person present would address him with that title, and Robin replied flatly, "I'm busy here. I'll return shortly."

"Wait, don't do what you're thinking!" Sakaar's voice thundered from afar. "Don't kill

Jabba!!!"
