The Grand Line, Paradise.
On Skypiea, an intriguing scene unfolded.
A large ship was being pulled by a massive lobster, struggling to fulfill its duty assigned personally by the servants of the god.
On Elsama, atop the lobster, stood ten individuals dressed in uniform.
They were Skypiea Police, personally tasked with delivering the ship to the priest!
Suddenly, a significant change occurred, altering the expressions of Skypiea Police.
The ship began flying on its own as if possessed by a ghost, instilling fear and horror in the faces of those aboard Elsama.
"What's happening?!"
"Is the ship... flying?!"
"Fuck! what do we do now?!"
As panic took over, Elsama made another move.
Modern cannons equipped with destructive missiles emerged from their hiding spots, targeting the frightened, trembling lobster.
*Boom!!*
*Boom!!*
*Boom!!*
The missiles struck the massive lobster directly, eliciting a painful cry before it fell lifeless onto the clouds.
"The lobster... it's dead!"
"R-run! There's a ghost!"
"Where do we run?!"
"N-noooo-!!"
Elsama didn't stop there; it swiftly ascended into the sky, the transparent barrier that blocked the air not activated, causing Skypiea Police to fall into the clouds.
Before their bodies could crash into the white clouds, Elsama launched only one missile, turning them into ashes.
Elsama remained in the air for several seconds as if controlled by someone, then turned around and sped off towards its owner.
No one was around to witness the earlier massacre, but Enel managed to witness it, further fueling his interest in the ship!
This ship deserves to be a godly vessel like mine!
These were Enel's dreamy thoughts.
On Angel Island, specifically on "Lovely Street".
Lovely Street was the main street on Angel Island and Skypiea in general.
Every corner of the street was filled with shops, stalls, and local Skypiean goods, where most commercial transactions and exchanges of various goods among individuals took place, making Lovely Street the economic artery of Angel Island.
As citizens went about their usual business amid the hustle and bustle of vendors and buyers, a loud, stern voice soon silenced the street's clamor.
"Everyone! Everyone, be on guard! Today, some illegal intruders entered from Angel Beach! At this moment, we, the White Flags, are searching for them!" exclaimed a tall man with a large scar across his face, giving him a fierce appearance.
He wore the same uniform as the people who tried to steal Elsama, one of the Skypiea Police from the White Flags team, Captain Micknelly!
After he finished speaking, murmurs spread among the residents of Angel Island about these mysterious intruders.
But everyone knew their fate-death.
"Elsama has returned!" Lorena exclaimed excitedly as she looked at the ship flying towards them.
"Good job Nami," Ren praised his navigator, who controlled the ship remotely using a system-like screen.
"I'm at your service, Captain. As those fools dared to steal our ship, it's an insult to me as a navigator!" she said fiercely, but her expression softened when she remembered that she had already killed them.
"They deserve what happened to them," smirked Nojiko.
"Of course!" Mikita added, a small smile on her face.
"Fufufu- I missed this magnificent ship," Robin joked.
"What do we do with Conis, Captain Ren? She's still asleep," Vivi asked suddenly, drawing
the crew's attention; Conis was still asleep from exhaustion.
It had only been a few minutes since her father's death, after all.
"Let's go up first." Ren looked at the girls and then jumped onto the ship in one step, with
Conis in his arms.
The rest of the girls followed suit, and Elsama quickly soared into the sky again.
"What's our destination, Captain?"
Ren handed Conis over to Nojiko and turned to Nami after hearing her voice, answering, "Upper Yard."
After Elsama left for a short while, a figure appeared in the sky, looking at Konis's house, or rather, the remains of Conis's house, and sighed with pity.
"Who are these people..." the old man sighed, he dressed as a knight, riding a winged horse; it wasn't as beautiful as the one in legends, and his ugly face was proof of that.
*Flap~*
The knight quickly flew away with the help of the horse and disappeared among the debris.
"Welcome to the Forbidden Land, Upper Yard!"
"The survival rate in this illusory forest is 10%! This is the Trial of Balls!"
*Swoosh!!*
*Splash!!*
"Aaah!"
The overweight person screamed as soon as he finished his speech, cut off by a slash of energy
from a sword waved by Nami towards him.
"So this is one of the priests Captain told us about..."
Conis said as she looked at the priest named Satori, "T-this... this is unbelievable! He's one of the powerful priests... How..." The voice of a shocked and trembling girl emerged.
Conis stared at the fallen Satori on the ground, her facial expressions reflecting a mix of emotions: shock, awe, confusion, and sadness.
She had awakened some time ago and was still processing what had happened to her. She realized that her father had truly departed; she... had no one left in this world.
But Ren had told her to follow him if she wanted revenge. Conis accepted, despite knowing that she was walking towards her death, until she witnessed this scene.
Do they really have the power to oppose Enel? Will we be liberated... Can this really happen?
Doubts overwhelmed Conis's mind, but she didn't have the chance to ponder this further as a soft voice interrupted her train of thought.
"Sigh... I expected some competition when I read 'Trial of Balls' at that entrance," Nami sighed and looked at Satori, who groaned from pain with disdain.
Satori was a round-faced man with fair skin and long dark red hair. He wore a white suit that
covered his entire body, featuring a vertical line of golden rings extending from the front to
the back, and a long black hat.
But now, he was in a state between life and death.
"Take these shackles and restrain him, Nami," Ren, who had witnessed the small "battle" between Nami and Satori, came and handed shackles to bind Satori.
He didn't want him to die just yet, not yet.
"I wonder how Nojiko and Mikita are faring in their trials," Lorena placed her hand on her
chin and pondered thoughtfully.
They had split up into three groups a while ago.
The first group consisted of Ren, Nami, Robin, Lorena, and Conis, under Ren's leadership.
The second group consisted of Nojiko and Vivi, led by Nojiko.
The third group consisted of Mikita, Zala, and Kaya, led by Mikita.
Ren knew that Nojiko, Nami, and Mikita could kill Enel's priests, so there was no problem
sending them to these trials to gain some combat experience. He was also confident that Mikita and Nojiko could protect members of their groups from Enel's lightning strikes, just as Nojiko had previously saved Conis's life.
"There's no doubt they're fighting their opponents now," Robin said, walking ahead of Ren. "You're right," Ren smiled, using his Observation Haki to see the girls' battle.
His Observation Haki might not be as strong as Enel's, who enhanced his Observation Haki
with his Devil Fruit power, but he could cover most places in Skypiea. However, he couldn't hear all the conversations happening on the island like Enel could.
By combining his own Observation Haki and his lightning powers, Enel learned to read "electrical waves" from the air, across long distances to get a fixed radar, resembling sensing everything happening around him on a wide scale, allowing him to know the precise locations, actions, and conversations of anyone on Skypiea whenever he wanted.
This power was indeed OP; a person needed an excellent level of Observation Haki to do what Enel did, but his Devil Fruit granted him access to this level without any serious training. Ren would lie if he said he didn't envy Enel, but he didn't look down on Enel because of the way he gained his power but rather because he never trained seriously and didn't train his own
Haki.
If Enel were a little smarter and trained his abilities, Ren wouldn't dare to be so confident
against him. Although he was still a formidable opponent due to his tremendous speed, Ren would encounter some problems.
But he would never run away from him; in the end, despite being called a god, he was still human and had limited endurance.
"So the Sky Knight's power, the Skypiea priest Shura, is only this much?" a soft voice sneaked
out of Nojiko's lips as she sat on a charred bird and looked at the massive man lying on the ground in front of her.
"The captain told us to bring him alive, Nojiko," Vivi, who was sitting on a rock casually, said. Since she entered this trial, she never left Nojiko's side because it was the safest place.
"Yes yes- but we don't need the bird," Nojiko laughed lightly, then in the next moment, her eyes turned cold.
"Partial Body Explosion: Hand Explosion!"
*BOOM!*
She placed her right hand on the head of the defeated bird, and in the next moment, the bird's
head exploded into a mash of flesh and blood.
"F-Fuza!" Shura screamed as he witnessed the previous execution happening before him. His heart ached as he saw his partner die, and the pent-up resentment grew in his eyes. "What's with that look? Do you want to kill me?" Nojiko smiled and rose from the body of the bird that had stopped breathing, then looked at Shura with amusement.
She covered her hand with Armament Haki and then thrust her fingers into Shura's helmet,
lifting him from it to look at his tear-stained face.
.
*BOOM!*
A loud boom echoed, shocking Nojiko and leaving Shura's face buried in the ground, creatingn/o/vel/b//in dot c//om
a hole the size of his face.
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
..
...
*BOOM!*
*BOOM!*
"We're done here~" Nojiko smiled innocently, then glanced at Vivi, who was trying not to
look at the previous torture scene, and said, "Fufufu~ What's the matter, Vivi-chan?"
"Oh... n-nothing."
"Truly nothing."
Today, Vivi realized how terrifying Nojiko could be when Ren wasn't around.
Mikita looked at the man with the exhausted expression in front of her.
He was bald and muscular, of average height, and somewhat tanned, displaying physical features typical of the Bircans race.
These features included a pair of small wings sprouting from his back and extending down
near his waist, a small mustache and beard around his mouth, and sunglasses perched above his eyes. He wore a sleeveless green shirt, gray pants with several pockets, and dark leather shoes with bandages around his soles.
This was one of Enel's four priests, Ohm!
Several finger-sized holes could be seen in Ohm's body, blood seeping from his exhausted
frame, gasping for air.
"The natural human condition is continuous fighting. Only through continuous fighting can happiness be achieved. This happiness is achieved through peace, and it ends with the destruction of weak human bodies due to these conflicts..."
"So, the true salvation of the human race is to eliminate it! When we become extinct, we will
find salvation! Our evil souls will be purified! Our lowly bodies will be cleansed-"
"Shut the fuck up already!!"
•
"Finger Pistol!"
Mikita screamed in anger and attacked Ohm. Were it not for the captain's orders, she would
have killed this annoying person long ago. Their battle had begun minutes ago, and she had
been enjoying torturing him, but she realized she had to end the fun.
"Agh!!"
Ohm screamed as he felt a finger piercing his abdomen with a few thrusts. The attacker didn't
stop there; she saw through the hidden eyes under the sunglasses that the fierce woman she
had been toying with had flown dozens of meters into the air.
"5000 kilograms!!"
"N-no.. W-wait!!"
"Agh!!!"
Ohm's screams echoed everywhere, while Zala mocked the man's plight, while Kaya watched
the battle with complex expressions but did not speak.
Ohm quickly fell unconscious.
Shandia Party.
A hidden village in the clouds.
"Pant... pant... pant..."
A young girl dressed in primitive clothes ran with all her might towards the gathering place of
the tribe's leaders, seemingly carrying important news.
The Shandians' village consisted of a group of makeshift houses, with the most prominent
feature being a large statue in the center.
The warrior statue Kalgara! "No news about Wyper yet?!"
Braham, one of the tribe's warriors, yelled in confusion and anger. Wyper was supposed to
have returned to the tribe several hours ago already!
"Could it be... Enel killed him?" Genbo speculated boldly, quickly earning fierce rebuke from
the rest of the tribe members.
"Don't joke about this, Genbo! Wyper has always escaped Enel's thunderbolts. What could
change now?!" Kamakiri shouted angrily.
"Calm down now... maybe he's delayed because of something." Raki said.
[A/N: He went to get milk and hasn't returned]
Raki is a tall woman with black hair, with two large bangs on either side of her face, a long and
well-groomed ponytail behind. She has dark green eyes, and her lips appear to be covered in pink lipstick. Like all Shandians, she has two small wings on her back.
She wore a light purple top revealing a darker patterned vest that exposed her midriff, and
light
red pants.
"Sigh..." Raki sighed with concern. Wyper usually returned to the tribe on time, so what happened this time? Although she knows Wyper's strength well, she couldn't help but worry. Although Wyper was annoying and always told her to occupy herself with small things, while she should focus on reclaiming their ancestors' land, Upper Yard, so they wouldn't have to fight for a single Vearth bag again.
She was always afraid of Wyper's violent nature, though she knew he wanted the best for his
people; she didn't like his mood. But, he was one of the tribe members and the strongest
warrior among them.
Her thoughts were cut off when she heard Aisa's terrified voice.
"You won't believe what I saw!"
Aisa entered the tribe's tent where Raki and the others gathered, panting.
"What are you doing here, you little mischief?" Kamakiri said. "What's wrong, Aisa? Why do you look like that? That bag... is it Vearth?! Why did you go to
the upper courtyard alone again!!" Raki's tone was gentle, but it quickly filled with concern
and feigned anger directed at Aisa.
To her surprise, the usual reaction didn't occur. Aisa took a deep breath and said loudly:
"I've seen something unbelievable with my own mantra! The priests of the god... three of them... have been defeated!!"
Author's gossiping.
I saw that there was no need for much filler in this Arc.
