Otaku Witch

Chapter 127 109. Curse from History_2

Dorothy: "...."

The Melon-eating Witch was somewhat stunned.

Goodness, isn't this just that classic joke?

"I want to be omnipotent," well first become omniscient, huh.

"I want to be omniscient," then you should become omnipotent, huh.

I just want to be omnipotent! Then go be omniscient, how can you be omnipotent without being omniscient?

But I want to be omniscient! Then hurry up and become omnipotent, how can you be omniscient without being omnipotent?

...

Are you guys stuck in an infinite nesting doll situation?

"So, how was this problem solved?"n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om

Dorothy asked with some curiosity.

In response, senior Fanny pointed at herself.

"Then came my birth."

The senior with long black straight hair also looked utterly gloomy at this point.

"Demon King Teacher's title is the King of the End. From this title, Dorothy, you can also see that it represents the Mother of the World's expectations for the Demon King Teacher, believing her to be the final queen of the Witch World." Stay connected through empire

"However, one day the Witch Teacher suddenly had an inspiration, and after discussing it with the Divine King and Dragon King, those senior figures, they made a joint request to the very reluctant Mother of the World. She then conceived me, the Fourth King."

"Demon King Teacher felt that the missing one Mana might not be the last stretch of the Path of Omnipotence, rather it could be the very beginning, the foundation of everything. Therefore, if this foundation isn't innately perfect from birth, then no amount of effort later on could compensate for that, hence they decided to employ the might of the world to create a witch who was innately perfect."

"Then came my birth. The Third King designed my existence with their near-omniscient wisdom, and the Mother of the World spent nearly all of the Witch World's accumulated wealth over hundreds of thousands of years just to conceive me."

"Indeed, as they wished, I was born with that fundamental one; I am both the one and the many, the fleeting and the eternal, the origin of everything and the end of all things."

As she spoke, terrifying magical power surged behind senior Fanny, the sounds of drums and flutes echoing through the void, with eerie green flames and invisible sound waves dancing around her, framing her like a deity.

Dorothy felt a bit overwhelmed by all this, the story was getting pretty intense.

"And then? What happened next?"

She urged on.

However, as she pressed for more, senior Fanny suddenly deflated.

"Then, as you can see now, I went mad."

"Dorothy, you don't know, those Three Kings Teachers are all damn inhuman, and even the Mother of the World speaks up for them. They want me to embark on the Path of Omnipotence, but they won't let me copy the templates. They say that I, a flawless witch, needn't refer to the weak races' templates. They insist I should figure out on my own how to evolve, how to achieve omnipotence."

"How am I supposed to come up with that? Why is it that all of you can copy others' work, but I can't? I'm just a newborn who knows nothing. How would I know how to evolve to reach omnipotence?"

"In desperation, I turned to studying history. Doesn't everyone say that a thorough understanding of history helps to recognize one's deficiencies? So I thought I'd give it a try."

"But, Dorothy, I have read the entire hundred thousand years of Witch history. I now understand it all. What do you think I learned from that history?"

After a bout of complaining, the senior with the long black straight hair once again asked Dorothy.

"Eh... how would I know? I hate studying history the most, which is why I came to seek your help."

Dorothy rolled her eyes again. Why is this senior always so fond of asking others questions?

"Sigh, I've learned only one thing from the entire history of witches: Witches can never learn from history. Why do we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over?"

The senior with the long black straight hair sighed, her voice deepening as the myriad demon monsters behind her began to stir.

"In that entire library of history books, I scrutinized our true history of more than a hundred thousand years, left to right. In those nearly unfathomable books, every page described slaughter and desires. I felt this was wrong and looked at it all ways, finally discerning a meaning amidst the lines, four words that were written all over it: 'Incurable beyond hope.'"

"Dorothy, we witches who rose from the invasion of Angels and grew through the resistance against invaders initially wanted to become strong just to protect ourselves. So why then did more and more worlds end up destroyed by our hands?"

"How are we now any different from the Lord of Glory, whom we still hang and torment to this day?"

"I once watched a little witch, just a few years old, right after she scornfully dismissed the invading Lord of Glory, turn around and kick an otherworldly race girl to death for dirtying her dress.

Yet, the adult witches around her took it as normal, reprimanding the little witch by saying it was not good, but in the end, they just excused it by saying 'she's just a child who doesn't understand, let it go this time.'

"It disgusts me, Dorothy. It should not be like this."

Senior Fanny's voice was laced with suppressed rage and sorrow as the terrifying Flesh Mushroom Blanket started to spread wildly from beneath her feet once more.

And those indescribable beings, originally stirring only in the magic power-derived world behind her, began to enter reality like they did before.

"After everyone left that day, I resurrected that innocent little girl. I originally wanted to comfort her, to offer an explanation on behalf of my race, but seeing the persistent fear in her eyes when she looked at me, I ended up saying nothing."

"Since then, I guess I went mad. Though I was destined to be The Fourth King, meant to lead our race of witches to greater heights, the truest desire in my heart turned out to be a longing for destruction. I yearn to utterly destroy the haughty world of witchdom."

"I sincerely believe this world is corrupt beyond repair, beyond salvation. To save the witches, we must destroy this insolent pride, to force those who now deem themselves as deities to remember the pain of being dominated and abused amidst the ruins of that world."

"Omniscience and omnipotence cannot save the witches. Only in destruction can the errant race of witches correct their faults and be reborn anew."

"This is the curse of the knowledge I bear, Dorothy. What do you think, am I truly mad?"

The senior with the long black straight hair leaned in close to Dorothy, her beautiful yet oddly sinister golden rectangular lambent eyes filled with confusion and bewilderment as she asked this question.

Dorothy: "..."

.....The baffled little witch once again felt utterly numb.....
