Chapter 521-Xegron in Action (3)

Chapter 521

In the desolate plane where the worlds collide, Xegron, a Zerg of royal lineage, squared off against Pokfracius, the sin-driven Archdemon from the wrath lineage.

The tension in the air was palpable as they prepared to clash.

Xegron gripped his spear tightly, its tip gleaming with ominous intent.

"You're a long way from your demon lord's protection, Pokfracius. Let's see if your wrath can match my might."

Pokfracius, his sinewy form coiled like a serpent, smirked in response. "Your royal blood won't save you from the fury I wield, Xegron. Prepare to taste the true power of wrath."

"Heh, die weakling."

Xegron aimed his spear with precision, his gaze fixed on the demon before him.

"Dark spear!" he shouted, unleashing the full force of his attack.

With a primal roar, he surged forward, his spear slicing through the air with deadly accuracy. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

But Pokfracius, his lithe form twisting and contorting, evaded each strike with uncanny agility.

"You'll have to do better than that, Zergling," he taunted, his voice dripping with malice.

Boom!

Suddenly, as the demon mocked Xegron, he realized it was a feint—the real Xegron was already behind him, spear piercing his body.

"Pathetic, even for an Archdemon," Xegron sneered, his smirk filled with confidence as he infused his spear with death energy.

The demon, shocked by the sudden turn of events, resorted to a forbidden spell in desperation—<Demon escape>. His body transformed into energy, allowing him to escape the impaling spear, but not without consequences.

Confusion and anger clouded the demon's mind as he found himself injured—an uncommon occurrence for a celestial immortal like him. The death energy from Xegron's weapon seeped into his core, threatening his very soul.

Cursing his luck, the demon's gaze fell upon Xegron's spear, now glowing with ominous power.

"What kind of spear is that?" he demanded, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Xegron's smile widened, a hint of pride in his eyes as he revealed the truth.

"This is the Spear of Destruction," he declared, relishing the demon's shock. "A treasure that even a Demon Lord would covet."

He recounted the spear's mysterious origin, obtained from the remains of the Zerg King—a weapon capable of challenging both Gods and Demons.

Its power was legendary, ranking among the top mystical treasures in the universe.

The demon's disbelief turned to dread as he realized the gravity of his situation.

"Spear of Destruction!" he exclaimed, his voice tinged with fear.

As the battle raged on, the remaining humans fell to the overwhelming energy unleashed by Xegron, their souls absorbed by him, fueling his power further.

"Arghh, you've pushed me too far," the demon roared, his laughter tinged with madness as wrath energy erupted from his being.

"This is the power of a DEMON!!" he declared triumphantly, his form pulsating with infernal might.

But the relentless onslaught took its toll on the demon's body, the death and destruction energy within him threatening to consume him from within.

Realizing his imminent demise, he knew he had to act fast and call upon the aid of his demon lord.

With a defiant clench of his fist, he unleashed his ultimate technique—<<Demonic Arts: Palm of Malice>>.

The sky darkened as a colossal palm materialized, dwarfing even the Net of Death Xegron had conjured before.

Its sinister aura enveloped the battlefield, threatening to tear Xegron asunder.

Demonic Arts were the pinnacle of a demon celestial immortal's power, crafted through years of mastery and refinement.

They were considered the ultimate trump card, capable of turning the tide of any battle. But such power came at a cost—their divine energy reserves depleted rapidly upon its use.

The demon, undeterred by the risk, channeled all his remaining strength into the devastating attack.

With a deafening roar, the Palm of Malice descended upon Xegron, its sheer force enough to shatter mountains and sunder the earth.

And as the demonic palm closed in, Xegron braced himself for the ultimate showdown, knowing that victory would come at a grave cost.

......

Dave, enjoying the desolate scenery while traveling towards the emperor's location, suddenly spotted a familiar energy—a telltale sign of demonic arts.

He had encountered celestial art similar to this before and knew its terror.

However, upon realizing it was Xegron, he merely shook his head and smiled.

"Heh, Xegron's pushing his opponents to reveal their trump cards."

Dave understood that once Xegron got serious, he could swiftly eliminate his foes, but for now, he seemed content to toy with them, relishing in their despair before delivering the final blow.

Glancing towards Muller and Eldrich's whereabouts, Dave was confident they would triumph.

In Kirito's assigned region, Dave wasn't concerned for their safety either; the undead legion, including Gargantor, one of Ronin's top assassins, provided ample protection.

Ronin's skilled assassins lurked in the shadows, ready to dispatch soldiers and enemies unseen.

Trusting in his subordinates' abilities, Dave remained carefree, eager to soak in more of the celestial plane's spectacle.

.......

While Dave remained relaxed, a certain demon lord observed the direction of the demon palm in the region, surprised to see one of his archdemons pushed to such an extent by the enemy.

Unable to act without alerting other beings, he also faced a figure materializing out of thin air, feeling a sense of vigilance in his heart.

Even though it was just a clone, he felt threatened by this individual.

Despite his status as a demon lord, he experienced significant bloodline suppression, as if confronting someone superior and more royal than himself.

The tall, handsome human before him surpassed the handsomeness of even the strongest demon lord, Asmodeus, ranked first under Demon Queen Lilith.

Having encountered Asmodeus before, the demon lord recognized his truly attractive face, capable of provoking desire in other demon women.

Yet, the human before him possessed a charm that momentarily left him dazed.

Unknown to the demon lord, this was Dave's clone, appearing as an ordinary mortal without displaying any energy, yet the demon lord dared not underestimate him.

"Oh, I finally found ya,"

Dave smiled, locking eyes with the demon lord as he effortlessly gathered information using his Eye of Chaos God.
