Reincarnation of the Strongest Healer

Chapter 171 Video

171  Video

As the battlefield was filled with the sound of metal clashing between two melee people, Xu Feng was calmly recording the video. While doing so, he altered his voice and took on the role of an emcee, making the video more lively and vibrant. "As you can see people, my teammate is currently contesting with another NPC. Although I don't know what's going on exactly, everyone should be able to see the bold red names in the NPC, right." "My teammate and I stumbled across this random hideout, thinking it was one of those hidden dungeons, but we were wrong. It was a place filled with these red names NPC." Right after that commentary, OneManMedia suddenly got the advantage, slashing in an aerial diagonal against the red name NPC. "Sheesh, my teammate just got the upper hand. Look at that NPC struggling for its life right now." 'Is this Lin Feng for real right now?' OneManMedia was agitated by his commentary. Was this some kind of show and he was just an actor for his deceiving video? Okay, it was true that was exactly what they were doing, but to seriously make commentary like that without any shame was unreal. To make things worse, he was purposely altering his voice, making others unable to discern who the commentator was. However, his face was being recorded and everyone knew exactly who he was. Once the video was published, the only one to be blamed if it were to be exposed was him. Xu Feng himself would remain scot-free because he never revealed his presence. As for the voice?

Anyone could easily debunk that by saying it was maliciously done by others trying to pin the blame on him. Additionally, he was positive Gentle Wind would be the first to come up and proclaim Xu Feng's innocence on the matter, given their somewhat ambitious relationship.

'I've really been trapped thoroughly!' OneManMedia cried inwardly in agony, attempting to land the final blow on the weakened and defeated NPC. n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

However, a staff suddenly appeared, blocking his slash.

To his astonishment, it was Xu Feng blocking him. "What are you doing?" OneManMedia asked in confusion. "Nothing much," Xu Feng casually responded, snatching his sword and landing the killing blow himself. As the NPC plopped to the ground, dead from the attack, Xu Feng returned the sword to him. Ignoring the confused OneManMedia, Xu Feng spent a few more times on the corpse before running back to his original position.

Still looking in a daze, OneManMedia held the sword silently.

Meanwhile, Xu Feng continued his commentary. "Victory, my teammate killed the NPC! I wonder what kind of drop reward we will see!" As he panned the camera further and zoomed close to the corpse of the NPC, a flashy glowing blue light emitted. It was at that moment OneManMedia realized what the heck he was doing earlier. He was planting the Stormfang Blade next to the corpse, faking it as if a rare piece of equipment was dropped by them.

However, he could only keep silent about the matter and laughed heartily after seeing Xu Feng signaling it behind the camera.

"Why don't we check what kind of item is that, OneManMedia!" Xu Feng, in his altered voice, urged excitedly. "Yes, we should see what it is." Keeping a natural composure, OneManMedia sheathed his sword and knelt down on one knee. "Holy smoke!" he suddenly shouted in astonishment. "Huh? What is it?" "I-It's a rare piece of equipment."

"Wait what?" Acting surprised, Xu Feng hurriedly zoomed the camera in on the sword and inquired, "What's the attributes of it?" A few seconds later, OneManMedia displayed the attributes of the sword, listing out the details of the Stormfang Blade. He held it tightly in amazement while commenting, "I didn't expect the red name NPC would have such a drop loot." After saying that, Xu Feng suddenly paused the video and went back to another NPC. "You're next and make sure to shout in agony at who goes by there, okay." Filled with disbelief, the NPC glared fiercely at Xu Feng who had just mercilessly killed off his companion while making a joke out of it.

"Oh, you're glaring at me?" Xu Feng laughed, taking out his staff and pointing it at his other tied-up companion. "Do you want me to enact the scene again on what happens if you don't listen?" He asked coolly. Frightened, the NPC swallowed a mouthful of saliva, clearly afraid of being the culprit of his fellow companion's death. "M-Monster," the NPC muttered.

"Monster? Stop trying to act humane now when we both know what you did as an excuse for your so-called clause for insurgency. Or should I bring along the women that are trapped in the cage inside the hideout over here and ask them how they feel about you all?" Xu Feng suddenly asked and gave the NPC a pat on the shoulder. "Since you don't treat yourself as human, then don't expect me to treat you as human." The NPC's face turned ashen gray at the sudden revelation. He lifted his chin up, trying to look at Xu Feng, but all he saw was a mask that concealed the latter expression. Despite not seeing the face, the NPC could sense a cruel smile and menacing expression directed at him.

"Either you do as I say, or I can send you to your misery. Of course, it wouldn't be something swift, but tools that are in your hideout." Knowing that the threat wasn't empty, the NPC nodded his head. "Good," Xu Feng loosened the ropes, and unlike the previous incident, the NPC didn't attempt any funny business. He did as instructed and shouted at OneManMedia with an extremely aggrieved and agitated tone. "Who goes by there?" The NPC then paused for a moment, looking at his companion's dead body as grief appeared on his expression. "How dare you, an intruder, kill my companion! Prepare to die!" At this moment, Xu Feng signaled for OneManMedia once again to say his dialogue. Suppressing his true emotion, OneManMedia laughed heartily, "Sweet, more enemies! I wonder if I can get another rare piece of equipment!"
