“Nine Heavens Emperor!” Demon Emperor Redraco roared as he slashed down at Tianyi.

Even though Demon Empress Bluefeather had sacrificed herself, the injuries on the Nine Heavens Emperor’s body were not as severe as the ones he suffered when he received the Five Element Annihilation. Demon Emperor Redraco knew he couldn’t give his foe a chance to breathe. Otherwise, he would escape and her sacrifice would be for naught.

His claws slashed the immortal emperor’s form. However, they only widened the opened wounds slightly. Simultaneously, black mist-like qi flew out and stuck onto his claws. With his Realm Dragon Scales, the corrosive qi could do nothing but adhere to his claws, but it slightly increased the consumption of his qi.

If only he had been the one to scope out the situation instead of Demon Empress Bluefeather. Even if he had fallen into a trap, his realm artifact would have protected him. Although Demon Emperor Redraco couldn’t crush the Nine Heavens Emperor to death with his hand alone, it was enough to keep him trapped. With his free hand, the demon emperor clashed and attacked the immortal emperor, whittling away at his body.

He continued to attack. Like a crazed beast, Demon Emperor Redraco increased his consumption instead of decreasing it, hiding his doubts from the outside world.

The void above the Scarletblood Dragon rippled and out stepped a figure cloaked in purple. He had cracks on his skin, but it only covered ten percent of his skin, far from the disastrous state of the figure Demon Emperor Redraco attacked. He held the Immortal Confining Sword raised above his head, and brought it down upon Demon Emperor Redraco’s neck.

However, Demon Emperor Redraco’s scarlet eyes showed no hint of shock or panic. Or rather, he appeared as if he had already expected it.

Tianyi said nothing as he clutched the large hole in his chest, which continually leaked black mist. He gripped the Immortal Confining Sword even more tightly.

Donghai Longzi slashed his two foes with both his claws.

One of his opponents, a man with a plain face and ordinary aura except for his exceptionally bright eyes that resembled the stars in the night, thrust his sword forward. The sword appeared plain, just like the man, but seven points glowed on it, making it resemble a constellation. Once it shot forward, it resembled a shooting star.

The second opponent exuded a terrifying aura. Every movement, each intent, contained his tyrannical will. He raised his sword above his head and slashed down with both hands. It was not beautiful like a shooting star, not elegant like the wind, just pure brute power to destroy all things.

The swords of white and black clashed with Donghai Longzi’s right and left claws, respectively. They entered a stalemate for only a moment, but the black dragon’s demonic might prevailed, forcing the two back. Ye Chen retreated a hundred meters, while Meng Tingfeng retreated three hundred meters.

“So that’s a demon emperor, nothing special,” Ye Chen muttered as he brandished his sword.

Meng Tingfeng didn’t say anything and entered a stance.

Donghai Longzi narrowed his eyes.‘Original Body only said to keep Meng Tingfeng alive and enact the plan. He mentioned nothing about Ye Chen. That means I can kill him.’

Meng Tingfeng felt the changes in Donghai Longzi’s domain. He sensed the additional power attached to the power of destruction. It was a power he was familiar with. Because he thought Ba Shifang was his son, he did everything to get close and learned that Ba Shifang used the Law of Five Phases to become a seamless immortal.

The Law of Time and the Law of Destruction were innately superior to any one of the five elemental laws. But compared to the Law of Five Phases? They were inferior.

Although that was the case, Meng Tingfeng changed his trajectory and charged toward Donghai Longzi. Although the power of worldly laws was one aspect, the user that applied the worldly laws was even more important.

Each one emanated the aura of stars and one of the five elements, perfectly merged. Of course, Meng Tingfeng had not embarked on the path of fusion the laws, and he was a step behind Ye Chen and Donghai Longzi. However, he wielded the divine Seven Star Sword, and one of its innate abilities was to form seven incarnations. So far, he could only use five of them.
