Chapter 789: Helena Becomes Managing Director

Chapter 789: Helena Becomes Managing Director

Wang Jian looked down at Erik Schneider, his expression cold and unyielding. "You've lost, Erik," he said, his voice flat. "But I'm not done with you yet."

He held out a document, a pen clutched between his fingers. "Sign this," he ordered. "It's a transfer of power. You'll be giving your wife control over Devereux's European operations in your absence."

Erik looked at the document, his eyes hollow with defeat. He knew that signing it would be the final nail in his coffin, the ultimate betrayal of everything he had worked for. But what did it matter now? His life was already in ruins.

With a heavy heart, he took the pen and scrawled his name across the page. Wang Jian took the document, a triumphant smile playing across his lips. "Excellent," he purred. "Now, let's go for a little walk, shall we?"

He grabbed Erik by the arm, his grip like iron as he dragged him out of the hotel room and into the cold night air. Erik stumbled along, his mind numb, his body heavy with despair. He knew where this was going; Wang Jian was going to kill him, to silence him forever.

They walked in silence, the only sound the crunch of their footsteps on the gravel path that led down to the river. When they reached the edge, Wang Jian turned to face Erik, his eyes glinting with malice.

"Any last words?" he asked, his voice mocking.

Erik looked at him, his expression blank. "Do what you want," he said, his voice barely a whisper. "I don't care anymore."

Wang Jian chuckled, a cold, humorless sound. "Such a pity," he murmured. "I was hoping for something a bit more dramatic."

With that, he raised his hand, a glint of metal catching the moonlight. Erik barely had time to register the knife before it was plunging into his chest, the cold steel slicing through his flesh like butter. He gasped, his eyes widening in shock as he looked down at the hilt protruding from his body.

Wang Jian twisted the blade, a cruel smile on his face. "You should have known better than to challenge me, Erik," he said, his voice low and menacing. "I always win."

Erik's legs buckled, his body crumpling to the ground as the life drained out of him. Wang Jian watched impassively as he took his final breaths, his eyes glazing over with the knowledge of his own impending death.

When it was over, Wang Jian wiped the blade clean on Erik's shirt, a satisfied smirk on his face. He dragged the body to the edge of the river, giving it a final shove. Erik's corpse hit the water with a soft splash, the current quickly carrying it away into the darkness.

Wang Jian stood there for a moment, watching the water ripple and flow, a sense of accomplishment settling over him. Erik Schneider was gone, his power and influence stripped away, his life snuffed out like a candle flame. And in his place, Wang Jian had installed his own pawn, his own puppet to do his bidding.

With a final glance at the river, he turned and walked back towards the hotel, his mind already racing with plans for the future. He had won this battle, but the war was far from over. There were still more territories to conquer, more enemies to crush, more empires to build.

But for now, he had earned a moment of respite. He returned to the hotel room, slipping quietly into bed beside Helena. She stirred in her sleep, her body soft and warm against his. He pulled her close, his hands roaming over her curves, savoring the feel of her flesh beneath his fingertips.

As he drifted off to sleep, he couldn't help but smile. Tomorrow would be a new day, a new beginning. And with Helena by his side, and Erik's power at his command, there was nothing he couldn't achieve.

The next morning, Wang Jian awoke to find Helena already dressed and ready for the day. She looked at him, her eyes bright with anticipation. "What's the plan for today?" she asked, her voice eager.

Wang Jian smiled, sitting up in bed and pulling her down onto his lap. "First things first," he murmured, his hands sliding up her thighs. "I think we need to celebrate our victory."

Helena giggled, her body arching against his as he kissed her neck, his hands roaming over her body. "And how do you propose we do that?" she asked, her voice breathy with desire.

Wang Jian grinned, his hands sliding under her skirt, his fingers finding her already wet and ready. "Like this," he growled, his lips capturing hers in a searing kiss.

They made love slowly, their bodies moving together in a dance as old as time. Wang Jian took his time, savoring every inch of Helena's body, every soft moan that escaped her lips. He brought her to the brink of orgasm again and again, only to pull back, leaving her gasping and desperate for release.

When he finally allowed her to come, it was with a cry of pure ecstasy, her body convulsing around him as he drove into her with deep, powerful thrusts. He followed soon after, his own release washing over him like a tidal wave, his body shuddering with the force of it.

Afterwards, they lay entwined, their bodies slick with sweat, their hearts pounding in time with each other. Wang Jian stroked Helena's hair, his fingers tangling in the soft strands. "I have some news for you," he said, his voice low and serious.

Helena looked up at him, her eyes wide with curiosity. "What is it?" she asked.

Wang Jian smiled, his expression one of triumph. "Erik is gone," he said simply. "He's left the city, left the company, left everything behind. He's gone into hiding, and he won't be coming

back."

Helena gasped, her hand flying to her mouth. "Oh my God," she breathed. "What does this mean?"

Wang Jian grinned, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "It means that you're in charge now," he said. "Erik has signed over his power to you, in case of his absence. You're the new managing director of Devereux's European operations."

Helena's eyes widened in shock, her mind racing with the implications. "But... but how?" she stammered. "I'm not qualified for that. I'm just a model."

Wang Jian chuckled, his fingers tracing the curve of her jaw. "You're not just a model anymore," he said. "You're my partner, my lover, my queen. And with Erik gone, you're the most powerful woman in Europe."

Helena threw her arms around him, her body shaking with emotion. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice thick with tears. "Thank you for everything."

Wang Jian held her close, his heart swelling with pride and satisfaction. He had taken a nobody, a mere pawn in the game of power, and turned her into a queen. And with her by his side, and Erik's power at his command, there was nothing he couldn't achieve.

As they dressed and prepared to face the day, Wang Jian couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. The future was bright, full of possibilities and opportunities. And with Helena by his side, he knew that he could conquer the world.

They walked into the Devereux headquarters hand in hand, their heads held high, their eyes gleaming with confidence. The staff looked up in surprise, their mouths dropping open at the sight of the new power couple.

Wang Jian smiled, his arm wrapped around Helena's waist. "Ladies and gentlemen," he said, his voice ringing out clear and strong. "I have an announcement to make. As of today, Helena Schneider is the new managing director of Devereux's European operations. She will be taking over for her husband, Erik Schneider, who has decided to step down and pursue othern/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

interests."

There was a moment of stunned silence, followed by a flurry of murmurs and whispers. But Wang Jian held up his hand, silencing them all. "I know this is a surprise," he said. "But I assure you, Helena is more than qualified for the job. She has my full support as her advisor, and together, we will lead this company to new heights of success."

Helena stepped forward, her head held high, her eyes flashing with determination. "Thank you all for your support," she said, her voice strong and clear. "I know I have big shoes to fill, but I promise you, I will not let you down. Together, we will make Devereux the most powerful and influential company in Europe."

The staff broke into applause, their faces shining with excitement and anticipation. Wang Jian smiled, his heart swelling with pride. He had done it; he had taken control of one of the most powerful companies in the world, and he had done it with style.

As they walked into the boardroom, ready to begin their new reign, Wang Jian couldn't help

but feel a sense of satisfaction. He had come a long way from the humble beginnings of his life in another world. He had fought and struggled and clawed his way to the top, and now, he

was finally

there.

And with Helena by his side, he knew that he would stay there for a long, long time. They were a team, a partnership forged in passion and power, and together, they were unstoppable.

As they sat down at the head of the table, Wang Jian reached over and took Helena's hand,

giving it a squeeze. She looked at him, her eyes shining with love and devotion. "I couldn't have done this without you," she whispered.

Wang Jian smiled, his heart full of love and pride. "We make a great team," he said. "And this

is just the beginning."

And so, with their hands clasped together, their eyes locked on the future, Wang Jian and Helena began their reign over the European branch of Devereux Internationals. It was a new chapter in their lives, a new adventure filled with excitement and possibility. And together, they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
